The Intelligent Image of YTO in the Eyes of a Foreign Student

Published:2024-06-28

Recently, Sohaib Muhammad, a Pakistani student from Henan Agricultural University, witnessed the manufacturing process of YTO tractor.

"The tractors look big and strong, but there are not many workers on the production line", said by Sohaib. In the 70HP-130HP assembly line, the mechanical arm is dancing, the digital display is flashing constantly and the workers are operating orderly and efficiently.

The popularization of new technologies and processes, efficient logistics and transportation, and a high level of information technology are the reasons why the assembly workshop is "sparsely populated" but runs efficiently.

"The robot painting line in the assembly workshop applies the form of aerial stacking chain, and the spraying operation is automatically completed by 4 robots. The water-based paint process is adopted, which realizes energy saving and environmental protection, and greatly improves the stability and unity of product quality", said by Liu Jiawei, a staff member of YTO Large Tractor Company.

"I’m also impressed by the AGV automatic guided vehicles, which are nicknamed 'AGV Dolly' by their staff and are capable of handling 3-4 tons of tractor chassis, greatly reducing labor costs", said by Sohaib.

"Besides, I have experienced the driverless tractor by remote control during the visit. It not only saves time, but also reduces labor costs. It is great!" Sohaib admitted that equipping the tractor with advanced Beidou technology and sensors and realizing autonomous driving once again refreshed his understanding of agricultural mechanization. As an agricultural student, he only knows advanced technologies such as unmanned plant protection machines and insect radar have been put into use before.

"Relying on various advanced technologies carried, users can intervene and adjust the working state of YTO LF2204 unmanned tractor within a kilometer range”, said by Chen Peng, a staff member of YTO New Product Company.

"The staff told me that YTO tractors have been exported to more than 80 countries around the world, and I found out that my home country, Pakistan, is one of them." Sohaib told the reporter that the "YTO" sign can often be seen in the field in Pakistan, a large agricultural country. With hi-tech of agricultural machinery and equipment, YTO is constantly promoting the development of global agricultural mechanization.
