On Nov. 5, 2013, Premier Li Keqiang came to the field of Hongqi Village, Fuyuan Village, Jimusi City during his investigation of agricultural production in Heilongjiang Province. Premier stepped on YTO-1804 TRACTOR working in the field, held the hand rail of the cab, had a close talk with the tractor operator regarding the subsidy of farm machinery, sales income and etc.
Songhuajiang-Nenjiang Plain and Three-River (Heilongjiang, Usuli and Songhuajiang Rivers) Plain of Heilongjiang province is the first lot experimental zone of comprehensive reform of modern agriculture approved by the State Council this year. Morning of Nov. 5, Premier Li came to the farm fields and looked at the subsoiling conditions.
At that moment, the Chairman of the Council of Fuyuan County Modern Farm Machinery Cooperative, sat in the cab together with the driver, they stopped the tractor when Premier came to them around 9 o’clock, premier opened the soil after working by the subsoiler, he checked the depth of sulboiling with the elevation pole on the tractor, then he stepped on the cab, below is their conversation in the cab.
“How deep is the exact subsoiling depth?”The premier asked the Ou Jin.
“Better above 35cm,”Ou Jin replied.
“Right, 35cm is bit shallow, 40cm is better. The subsoiling in Canada and other countries is up to 50cm.”Replied the premier.
The premier also explained to him, China has a shallow loess earth layer, min. subsoiling 35-40 cm, the goodness of deep subsoiling is resistant to drought and waterlogging, increase the earth temperature can therefore increase the crop yield by 10%.
Then Premier asked, is this your tractor or from the company? He asked if it is purchased with subsidy when others mention it belongs to the cooperative.
Ou Jin replied, “It cost me 410,000 yuan, 60% is the subsidy from the State, I am happy. I have over 50,000 Mu of field, incl. rice fields, I plan to buy more tractors next year. ”
Then the premier asks about the power of tractor, how many farmers there are in the cooperative, how many hectares of land they have, how much the farmer has to pay him when use his tractor and implements.
It is heard that there is no malfunction yet during the operation to his YTO-1804 tractor, it works with quality and stability.
