On April 11, the academic council meeting of tractor power system state key laboratory held in YTO. Li Xiaoyu, party chief and CEO of YTO, attended the meeting. Chen Xuegeng, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and the director of academic committee took the chair.

　　Zhao Yirong instead of Dong Wei works as deputy director of the academic committee because of some working adjustment in YTO. At the meeting, Zhao received the letter of appointment from Li, with the employment term from Jan.1,2019 to Dec.31,2020.

　　Wang Jianjun, the director of the laboratory introduced the overall status including progress on important projects, talent training and team building, opening up, cooperation and exchanges, current problems, challenges and emphases. Wang Dongqing, the deputy director of the laboratory, introduced the laboratory schedules in 2019.

　　The members of the committee highly affirmed the achievements of the laboratory in the past year. They gave some guiding advice in project application, technology research, talent training, opening, cooperation and standard management. The laboratory should be treated as a independent unit with power system as its research direction. The projects of open fund and extensive academic exchanges at home and abroad should be more encouraged.

　　Chen Xuegeng made three points for the next phrase: firstly, the objects of the laboratory are able to solve the problems in the agricultural machinery industry; secondly, focus on the main points according to the relevant demands of laboratory acceptance check; thirdly, improve the quality of our labor by high-level paper and application for National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology.

　　In 2019, YTO will continually support the development of the laboratory by training more talents, taking part in more communications and better products, said by Li Xiaoyu.

　　After the meeing, Prof. Xuegeng Chen, Prof. Maogang He, Dr. Yucheng Zhang, Dr. Dongqing Wang has made academic reports in their respective fields of study. 150 members from Henan Science and Technology University and YTO Group and the tractor power system laboratory listened to the reports.
